Frequently asked questions

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open the iOS Settings app, tap your name at the top, tap Subscriptions, tap Workout Planner Pro, then tap Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

How does the 14-day free trial work?

The trial starts when you finish onboarding (not when you install the app). No credit card is required. For 14 days you have full access to everything: workouts, progress, GLP-1 companion mode. After 14 days, a subscription is required to keep using the Workouts and Progress features — choose Monthly or Yearly. You'll always see the exact price in your own local currency inside the app before you confirm.

I deleted the app and reinstalled — why does it say my trial has ended?

To prevent trial abuse, Workout Planner stores the original install date in Apple's encrypted Keychain. This survives reinstall. If you genuinely lost your trial through a phone reset and want a fresh look, email us — we read every message.

Does Workout Planner collect my data?

No. Workout Planner has no servers and no analytics. All your data stays on your iPhone. See the Privacy Policy for the full details.

Is Workout Planner a medical app?

No. Workout Planner is a fitness companion and does not provide medical advice, dosing guidance, or diagnose any condition. The app references GLP-1 medications (Ozempic, Mounjaro, Wegovy, Zepbound, etc.) only to explain why preserving muscle while losing weight matters. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any new exercise programme — especially if you have a medical condition or take prescription medication.

How do I export my workout data?

Data export isn't available yet — it's on the roadmap. In the meantime, everything you log is stored safely on your device.

What happens if my card fails on renewal?

Apple will retry the payment for up to 16 days (the billing grace period). During that time you keep Pro access and we show a banner reminding you to update your card in iOS Settings. If the retry never succeeds, the subscription lapses and the paywall reappears — your training data stays exactly where you left it.

I found a bug. What do I do?

Email us with: a description of what happened, what you were doing when it happened, and if possible a screenshot. Include your iOS version (Settings → General → About → Software Version) so we can reproduce it.

Restore purchases

Inside Workout Planner: Settings → Subscription → Restore Purchases. This pulls your subscription state from your Apple ID — useful after reinstalling or switching devices.

Delete all data

Inside Workout Planner: Settings → Reset all data. This wipes everything stored on your device. Your Apple ID subscription is not affected — to cancel that, go to iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
